hehe - i am the very very very last person you should as "do you know this car"
i would have trouble identifying a car even if it had run me over and left its name across my forehead

though i understand your point, i still say that rare generally go's hand in hand with sort-after
hense my thoughts on a vinyl like that - that has 15 copys to purchase on discogs and 5 people wanting it.....as opposed to (just picking one at random)
Raver Baby11 (You're Shining) which has 3 copys for sale at £10 and 99 people wanting it

but like i said, i understand your point!

That's because nobody likes the old Hardcore :P Also, raverbaby is more popular than some 120 BPM Hardcore track from the time when people didn't even know Hardcore existed.. so yeah. How do you want people to "want" it when they don't even know it exists?? For me it's a rare record :) It's old and it was one of the first hardcore tracks, which has nothing to do anymore with new hardcore!

as i said tho it aint one of the first happy hardcore tunes ever, SMD #1 from 1993 is classed by many as the first happy hardcore tune so.

also google Acid House & im sure that you will see that after the Acid House scene split hardcore was never as popular as it was back then, that is a fact. when since then have you heard of a rave with 100,000 people at it ? you havent which is the proof.

What are you talking about … It's a normal acid house track and there's a HARDCORE remix on the vinyl, and it's from 1988.. and it's not the only Hardcore track from the late 80s I have.. so yeah. I remember there was "Listen To Your Heart" ( also late 80s I think ), and you probably know the No Left Turn & Cracker Jack Remix. But yeah..

Anyone who actually has any decent taste in Hardcore likes old Hardcore....it's by far the best.
People who think current Hardcore is the best don't know what real Hardcore is all about. Anything made in 1988 isn't what we could consider (even early) Hardcore. It probably just has the word Hardcore in the name which dosn't mean anything :P

DJ Mouse In Da House!!!

I have Time and Perfect Dreams (Several different versions of each actually, including the originals of each) ;-)

My most treasured vinyl is Baby D Let me be Your Fantasy original 1992 pressing.

Dunno what's considered my rarest, have a number of promos, and limited pressings. I have Jimmy J and Cru-l-T's Runaway, and I wanna be Forever (AKA forever young), both limited to 1000 pressings I believe, or was it 500?
I also have Donna Grassie I believe limited to 500 pressings. I have the original pressing of Super sharp shooter by Zinc, that I believe was then deleted. But I didn't struggle to get any of these. I have many more records that I found more difficult to come by.

Someone talking sense at last. What is Revs on about how no-one likes old hardcore???? Does he actually think hardcore is bigger now that it used to be?
It's definately more commercial, but the scene was much bigger and stronger back in the day.
I don't think anyone can make a viable comment about this subject unless you have been around for both. I have, and I stand by my comment and agree with Hard2Get. I may even go as far to say that some might not consider the new stuff Hardcore anymore. A lot should be called Harder-Faster Trance ;-)

Holy **** you guys are really stupid!! I'm not talking about oldskool stuff from the 90s, I like that, but I'm talking from the stuff from the 80s, you guys probably never heard of !! It's not what you would consider as Hardcore, but it WAS Hardcore, if you want it or not, that's the way it started.. when House split in several different genres.. later in the 90s it became much faster.

true it was the hardcore of its day & the term was loosely used back then, however i like house tunes from 1986 onwards so for me thats when it all started.
