So I get an email from a local DJ saying he has DOK - Lucky Star... says it's a limited edition black record... they only made 10 blacks and 50 clears... anyone know of this?

I didn't think they made any blacks...it is limited to 50 pressings though

It could be a test press...those are usually black

They made 50 clears, test press might be black (if so it's super rare), it also might be next gen's version so make sure.

Hmmm... well he said it's black... but then again he also said he hasn't even took it out of the sleeve yet... either way he want's to know if I want it for $30... if it's this rare I just might hafta get it, but I wanted to make sure.

if you can make sure it's the DOK version then you can't go wrong
either way the clear release is worth that much as well

I've got the Black Label Test Press of Dougal's original Love Of My Life! There were only 5 ever run off!!
If its a test pressing, its worth it. Just remember if you have a Test Press or a Dub its not going to play as many tmes as the normal release before it loses its quality.
