Well my love for 80's music and happy hardcore have combined for this production, but dont let that put you off listening. I've uploaded a short sample of a track I've been working on. You should recognise it from the piano before the vocal sample comes in...

Let me know what you think.

I can't say I see the 80's in it, but it's a great old school sounding track. Very old school bass. Not much to say, but great job!

The vocal sample is taken from an 80's track called 'Marys prayer' and I've used it to build a hardcore track around.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

Yes nice one mate, this is preciesley the sort of thing I'm trying to do at the moment. About time we had some more like this actually.

How long have you been producing then mate give us a bit of background on yourself if you don't mind. What are you using, all software?

Any idea on when the finished tune will be done? I'll get round to uploading one of my own little numbers soon, just not happy with them quite enough yet though.

Hi phil thanks for the feedback...

I've been producing for around 7 years now, mainly working on trance projects under the guise 'Maxam', but every now and then I like to do a bit of happy hardcore.

I'm guessing it will be about a week or so untill the full track is finished and the vocals may be replaced by a female singer, although I have'nt decided on that yet.

It was produced in Cubase SX Re-wired with Reason, so mainly software, apart from controllers.

Thanks again and I'd like to hear some of your stuff.
