well... im new to midi controllers.. but pretty well adapt to cubase and reason.

i have a M-audio Audiophile usb soundcard, and the other day bought the m-audio oxygen 8 v2 keyboard
Everything is running fine.... but i cant work out how to get the transport (ie play stop) to work with nething, and also how to program the other controllers.
I can recieve the midi messages in cubase, and playing the keys and octave shifter is fine, recording is fine ect..
The midi controller is automated set-up in some programs.. ie reason.. but cubase seems much harder to work with it.
I believe?? i need to download a midi hardware update/file?! to install the correct.. settings.. for it to work in cubase..

also i have looked through the manuals and help sites but cant seem to find nethin
i would be greatfull for your help, if ne.
Cheers!

If you want to control a parameter of a synth, you need to find the MIDI implementation chart for it, then find the CC number of the parameter you want to control, then program the controller to manipulate that parameter. Some synths work automatically with the controller.
