Ive just put together an order on http://www.maplin.co.uk so i can make some audio cables. I got two sets of xlr's and 4 1/4" stereo jack plugs, now I need the cable but im not sure which to get, I phoned the helpline but all they could suggest was two core cable which aint much use when making something that needs 3..

Any help would be great. I dont want to spend a fortune so nothing above £2 ish a metre
