I was naive before i bought stanton products!
The quality of the product is poor to say the least and the customer support is non-exsistint. Thats just 2 points i could keeep going!
I personally would not even use a stanton needle anymore let alone buy TT's or a mixer, seriously consider something else stanton are 1 of the worst manufactures there is!
For the price of stanton T80 you could easily pick up a set of second hand technics, although second hand might not sound as appealing please believe me as long as the tonearm and RCA cables are still in perfcect condition the TT's will be so much better and last so much longer!
Once again **** STANTON!

So maybe I shouldn't believe you...
...but then if I don't believe that statement...
...I wouldn't have a reason to not believe you in the first place...
...so...

Well if you hate buying cd's and your burner sucks then id say you're probaly right in thinking about vinyl tables. it's all about what you'll be interested in using the most. :D

I have the Technics 1210MK2's
Fantastic Turntables :)
The STR8150's have a powerful motor inside of them but Technics do last a long time.
Do get the Str8150's or get a Pair of Technics 1200/1210's - You wont regret it :D

cant even compare technics and stantons!
like chalk and cheese, 1 is professinal dj equipment the other is bedroom room equipment! It really is as simply as that!
Powerful motor they may have but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired and also this is not just a gripe i have with stanton TO MUCH TORQUE IS JUST AS BAD AS TO LITTLE, i had vestak PDX-2000 this was a major probelm with them!
Again 2 words "industry standard", i have yet to play or even see a club that has stanton TT's installed, have you?

I just clear something up :)
Go Technics and You wont regret even buying them!!!
I got mine second hand and they are only 1 year old :D
woohoo!!!
I love them and yes, god forbid if they die, I wont be one happy guy ;)
There might be people that say stanton are better blah blah blah.
Infact they are wrong! Technics have been standard for 30 YEARS for a very good reason, they are nothing but reliable :)
The Bottom Line is: Most Pro DJ's use Technics :P

Nothing to do with that, more so on the quilaty of the build! Under par normamlly!
I was a final scratch and final scratch 2 user back in the day and if anyone has ever dealt with stantons customer support i honestly don't think they would buy no more of their products!
Ok so some other TT's have extra features, mp old vestax had +/- 50 pitch, who the **** need to play records that fast? also had the reverse feature whaich i never used!
But no other company comes close to being able to produce the build quality on technics, my TT's are like tanks SOLID! My technics are newish but i know other that have 10+ year old TT's and when i have had a shot on then they still felt exactly the same (PITCH AND WHAT NOT DIFFERENT DUE TO ME HABVING MK5G'S)
