I've recently got some 1210s and have never been able to turn the bass up much without it distorting, even when the bass is turned right down it's still bassy, I've swapped the amp & mixer to test whether it was that & the speakers are fine, could it be BOTH the decks which are doing this cause oits the only other think I can think of.
