Hi all.
My gf is off to Thailand in about a month and she said she would post me back a pair of cdjs. Just wondered if there was anyone out there who had any ideas on this...
-How much do you reckon they will be?
-Power converters?
-Places to look?
-Same model as UK?
Hopefully looking at 1000mk3 or mk2 but if not saving loads might settle for 800s.
Any ideas plz. I really can’t find any info on net about this, not in English anyway :)

I've been to thailand but didn't have time to look at dj equipment!
Word of advice, anything worth a decent amount of cash (phones, camcroders, etc) has a copy made of it over there i would be very carefully when buying to make sure i got a genuine pioneer unit and not some cheap sub standard knock off

The cheapest price I've seen on a CDJ1000 is Amazon.com, currently selling 1 at 1,150.69 US dollars, which is at least 300 dollars cheaper than Japan.

Selling for 1526.14 US dollars... which is about the same price as Japan.

Another point worth noting pioneer will only honor the warrenty if the unit has been purchased from a registered pioneer dealer!

Yeh the only reason i wanted to get them from thailand is the price.
If i had enough to buy them in the uk they would be sat next to me now :)
i think if i do decide to go ahead and get them will be worth researching reputable outlets before i send £800+ over there.
wow that is seriously cheap on amazon.com will deffinately think about that. have to work out the tax tho.
