Hey, just wondering if Cubase Essential will be good enough to start out with or if I'll have to save up mo' dough for the full version. Will I be losing major features by not having the full version?

It would probably be a better idea to get the full version. It would really suck if you wanted to do something in Cubase and weren't able to .

studica.com or your local music store should have academic versions that cost half the price of the regular edition (and have ALL the features)

I had to send a digital photo or scan of my college pass that displayed an expiry date (that hadnt been passed yet). Either that or a verification letter just to say youre a student at such-and-such a college and will be till such-and-such a time.
