I'm looking to buy a synthesizer to produce mainly Hardcore and Happy Hardcore. Is there any synthesizers anyone would recommend? Thanks a bunch! :D
Actually, I should be more specific. When I say 'Hardcore' I mean like, Freeform, not Gabber. Just in case anyone were to get confused!

Nexus sounds pro out of the box but you can't customize sounds much
If you actually want to learn synthesis get v-station, z3ta or sylenth1.
Those are all vst plugins though. Nobody really uses hardware much anymore, and its not really worth investing in unless you really need it. The standard hardware hardcore/freeform synths are the access virus, Jp8000 and juno106.
And FYI, you can use the same synths to make gabber or any other style of hardcore...
