what i hate is the price of the plugin in FL, but it a great and easy to use program

Cubase 5 - but I could easily switch to another DAW and continue where I left off. It's not an important factor in the grand scheme of things. In my experience, most of the Nu Energy artists tend to use Logic, but not necessarily because it's any better for them - just cos that's what they've ended up on over the years.

Well, I use Reason, and I'm working on getting Cubase.
Most of the pro's use Cubase for hardcore...
To name some off the top of my head, Dougal, Gammer, Brisk, Stormtrooper, V.e.g.a.b.o.n.d., and even Infected Mushroom uses Cubase for production, combined with a lot of other things.
I say get em all, build a super computer, and lock yourself in a room for months till you put out a legitimate 10 track CD with all produced tracks =O!

Not true at all.
Stormtrooper uses Logic Pro.
Vagabond uses Sonar.
Brisk uses whatever his engineer is using.
Fail (but I do agree that most pros use Cubase these days)

I am a proud and vocal user of FL Studio 8.0 :)
I'm currently using the 8.5 Beta, and even with all the bugs Beta programs have, its lovely to work with.
