well like it seems like the only thing im good at making is gabber, lol.....
well as everyone knows every genre has like the 5 things that need to be in a song to make it that genre.....so what are the main things that need to be in a gabber track?

i know like a fast bmp 180+.... and a hard bass drum and bass

so what else do i need?

A bass is something that will make it NOT a Gabber tune. All the bass comes from the kick drum, there is almost never any off beat bass sound.
As for speed, again, the speed of the track does not define the genre, there is quite slow stuff then there is quite fast stuff.
The only way you will really understand what makes a Gabber song is if you listen to enough of it. People can tell you in theory what makes a Gabber track but unless you really understand it yourself you may always end up way off.
I would tell you what i think 5 things are that make a Gabber track but there is no way you would be able to interprete them the way i am telling you unfortunately (saying to use a distorted kick or distorted leads could mean anything to you).

im producing wot everyone here calls gabber and its not really a specific speed.. theres a big range actually from 150-210bpm. wot makes it gabber? prolly the roughness.. just some pounding kicks, violent lyrics.. no singing but just parts of mostly spoken text. a little melody but not to much. thats all imo.. gabber has no standards.. just make it sound nice nd rough ;)

take a look on the site in ma sig.. might give a few idea's altho thats like cant get it much harder

Not quite. There's definitely gabber with an off-beat bass but it's generally not very dominant. Pitching kicks is definitely more common, but it's possible to have bass for sure.

Well i said almost all, meaning almost all Gabber/Dutch Hardcore has no off beat bass in it, so my point remains (i never said it wasn't possible). There is literally no point because all the bass comes from the kick. The only time it would have a point is if you could change the note but you couldn't do that without it completely clashing with the kick so yeah....like i said, completely pointless.
There is SOME tunes that have deliberately short kicks and fit a bass in, but that is not the kind of music we are talking about.

hard2get u got it spot on ;) due to the distorting and overall effects used on gabber kicks its the trick to make the bass come out of the kick so that u dont need to fit a bass in between the kicks.

@ dain-ja.. some gabber/dutch core tracks do have it yes.. but check those tracks overall.. is it 100% gabber/dutch core? no... for example some angerfist tracks have it but they are half DnB.. so yea... explain ur point on offbeat gabber tracks

if your looking for a fairly simple start to gabber, find inspiration from the thunderdome albums. the playground of horror(correct?) is my favourite and gave me a few result-less ideas!
