Ever since I started playing piano (a long long time ago lol) I avoided counting, which came back to get me when I got into electronic dance music XD. Also someone commented on my Drum patterns being weak in my music. Which is true it is the newest concept, thing I pratice and play with. So... my question is there a book or some kind of resource to learn more about breakbeat patterns/hardcore patterns?

Basic Breakbeat Hardcore / Drum & Bass pattern....
A big snare hitting on 2 and 4
Kick on 1 and 3.3
Of course this is a basic pattern you can experiment with it, throwing in "Ghost Hits" is particularly used in D&B patterns. Google them if you dont know what they are, there's a few videos on youtube that are relly helpful. Look for one by a real drummer, it helped me understand them much more than reading about them used in technology.

Ghost hits! Thanks for the tip! :) I just learned about the Amen break just a few min. ago and it seems that all other beats stem from there. Now question is how to implement it all. XD Back to the sequencer it seems...
