I just pulled some tracks off of some records I have, and I was wondering if there's an equalization preset anyone uses to make them sound really good like digital tracks. What frequencies should I typically boost or lower?

It's not an EQ thing, you'll need to declick it, denoise it and boost the gain (to almost the level before clipping).

Clicking I don't mind, but to me it sounds like a LOT of high end is missing whenever I rip.

Could be your recording equipment or your cart, I noticed a hell of a difference when I changed to a X-Fi with a phono input... some people hate the card (price reasons) I think it's a great piece of kit.

Make sure your cart is clean and you don't have too much weight on it (you're playing a record not scratching).

Also because your working with an analogue medium you'll need to record the vinyl a little hot (volume up as much as you can before clipping)... but remember all vinyl is pressed different (even A and B sides) so you need to adjust your record level per track so you don't distort.

I've got it right at the gain limit, but the high still sounds weak as all hell.
