has anyone else had problems with logic "forgetting" to read automation? its a pain in the ass, anyone know how to sort it out?

No, but it likes to **** out on me when it comes to syncing audio and midi... when I don't even have a tempo curve going. I mean come on!
Upgrading to Cubase 5 this X-Mas for sure! Some may argue that it's not an upgrade, and it's not, but in terms of producing dance music, Cubase is the way to go. So bye Logic (in 6 months of course).

nope as long as you have a legit version and it has had the most recent update you should be fine. It is most likely the plugin that forgets to automate not logic. logic works rock solid with most plugins but you get the odd plugin that just does not want to cooperate it happens quite abit so check the manufacture forum and website for updates to most current version and bug fix issues. i know i had that problem with my virus powercore updated it to latest version everything works fine.
