Just found this tune at random on youtube, Bunny Lake - 1994 (Ilsa Gold Remix) and thought it was a rare remake of a Eurodance tune from the 90s (The name 1994 gave it a way) but as I looked up the original artist on Discogs it seems this was released in 2009 and Bunny Lake haven't done anything before the mid 2000s.

As for Ilsa Gold they where an Austrian Hardcore act, more Gabber sounding in the 90s and done little after the new Millennium?

The production methods used seem to be very much mid 90s production with the breakbeats, certainly not late 2000s!

Its a good remix though, what do you all think?

Bunny Lake, based on Discos doesn't have any tracks dating from 2005 or earlier. So it's highly likely it's from 2009

You must never have heard Hardcore Breaks before then as it's an entire genre based on sounding like pre-94 tunes, convincingly so. The tune you posted sounds like it's from 2009 to me. And if it says it is then it is. It sounds like it's from 2009 because the production is way too clean to actually be from the mid 90's.
I suggest you download this for a good example of Hardcore Breaks that sounds completely authentic (more authentic sounding than the tune you linked):

Goes to show the style never really got old. Im not sure if you would like any of the older Ilsa Gold stuff, mostly hard Hardcore but well known from the Austrian & Dutch side of things. Tunes like Silke & Up being the best known from 20 years ago

Bunny lake have been around for quite a few years now. Got a few bits of theirs.

Never heard that remix until now though.

I guess it is always good when I share my youtube vids then This would have been the first remix or anything from Ilsa Gold since 1996 although they where more Gabber than Breakbeat. I am surprised I haven't come across many recent (post 2000) remixes of Silke

It looks Ilsa Gold still plays once in a blue moon: http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?278913

I think just recently there was some hardcore event where all the old acts played from the euro hay day, like critical mass, charley lownoise etc...
