Ha! I'm surprised someone's not said something like this before. I'm sure I probably come across like that to a lot of people on here.
There's a lot of things that get said on here that I don't agree with. Occasionally I'll say something if I feel strongly enough about, but 90% of the time I just ignore it entirely. I post about things I like and people I like, and it probably makes me look like I'm just sucking everyone off at every opportunity.
Bottom line is, I know a lot of people from this site in real life. Have raved with them and drunk with them. As long as they don't think I'm an "ass kisser", that's all that matters to me.

Yeah, how dare he take the time to get to know people in real life and give feedback on music when most people just can't be arsed.
Ass kissing half the people here? Pretty poor show if you ask me, should be at least 67%.
One positive though, at least he doesn't just appear out of nowhere with a pointless wanky post that contributes **** all to the discussion.

I've actually already posted in this thread on page two, i know you've got to back up your boy but this isn't the way to do it.
Also Jay i'm glad you can take that comment with a little pinch of salt and understand how your image may be perceived externally, i think your a good guy and a credit to the support for the promotion of smaller events on here - sometimes you just show your love a little too strong.
Now who's ass licking!

Even if that was true i don't think you can do such a thing too much.

Ha! Yeah, that's probably true. What can I say, I fcuking love Hardcore, I love the community and circles of raving friends and DJs that I feel a tiny part of, and I really love a lot of the lads on here. When I'm talking about Hardcore and raving, it's difficult to hold back! I honestly, honestly thought I would have "grown out" of Hardcore by the time I was 26, when I was 18. Seems to have intensified, though.

I filed a restraining order once because someone showed love a little too much.
Bottom line is you can.

Fair point, but i don't see anything wrong with a bit of enthusiasm. A forum like this needs a good balance of views and Jay certainly covers the positive side of things ;-)

Yeah, but that's not a fair statement, really. They are not a Freeform label. Can't imagine anyone making a Freeform track built around those vocals, either.
Not completely excluding the possibillity, but it would be great if they post a few other genre bits once in a while, i just doubt that it will happen here, not in a negative way.

And I'm pretty sure the reason FW has so many artists is so they can produce more varied music. So if they aren't open for Freefrom (with Gammer being there), then they aren't open for any other styles.

Was able to find the Stomppy and the Warlord remix on Soundcloud. They're both the very very futureworld-sounding thing. Not surprised though, I figured that's what theyd be going for.

I never got round to finishing mine. It was a straight up choice between working on this or Cheery Bomb remix, the later won!

They have so many artists so they can produce varied music but at the same time, they arent "open for other styles", paradox.

Umm no.
I mean yes that's what they publicly announced as their reason for forming this alliance, but in all honesty not being pessimistic, but realistically does anyone who has a broader view of the whole UK hardcore scene genuinely believe that they will produce a plethora of noticeably varied music?
