Apparently artwork is on flyers out tonight, would be nice if someone can upload a scan if they aren't sat inside like me tonight :)

He's announcing it tonight on the flyers from what Nick just said. CDJay told me about it weeks ago. Great news to hear. The album has been rumored to be in the works for many years. Whether or not they were nothing but rumors, or D&G just didn't have a platform to release such an album doesn't matter anymore now that HU is at the helm of its release! We know it's gonna happen :)

Incoming unknown tracklist post from Hellfury in 3... 2.... 1....

Really looking forward to the D&G album. I really hope they've managed to put Fires In The Sky there, full original version (don't want a shitty 2013 style remake of it pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaase, gods hear me). That alone would make me buy the album.

if there are brand new tunes, classics (where people want an remastered version of) or unreleased ones (since years) people want it on album, i make thread about it. it may helps to get the album in the direction people like to have, before final release plans are made.

Not really how we intended to announce it, but hey ho.

Still, "Fires In The Sky" is on there. Hellfury is right, on this one, there's still time to be suggesting must-have-inclusions of yore......

I think one of the must have inclusions for many will be the original mix of I don't want this night to end by United in dance with whiz kid as featured on bonkers 16.

Absolutely! Listened to this twice this morning, funnily enough, when making a cuppa at work. I liked the Stylus & AudioJunkie Remix, too... It's on YouTube somewhere.

Of the recent material, "Float Away" would have to be on there for me!
Of the older stuff - "My Direction (Dougal & Gammer Remix)".

This may be a silly question but why have they gone with Hardcore Underground instead of Future World? I know HU releases alot of artist albums and FW is more for single releases. Just wondered why with both of them having recent releases on FW that they would go with HU?

Anyways disregarding that I am super stoked that these two guys will release an album. And Brisks album too, will be adding them to my collection.

:-)

Gammer remix of Black Magic would be nice if it's remixes as well, I can't think of anything else right now but this is going to be awesome!

CDJay, how did you plan to announce it? I feel bad for posting now!

edit: I need a digital version of ordinary people too! Please put that on there, absolute classic

As with the "This is Powerstomp" album, it's a case of piggybacking a tried and tested infrastructure with the newly established direct sale model. It's something that works a lot better for everyone with each additional project that brings new people in.

Essentially, at this point, we're trying to replicate the "platform" once provided by the major comps, in a sustainable and more representative fashion. We really thought our biggest challenge would be getting people to sign up in the first place which hasn't turned out to be the case. With that better-than-expected start (it's entirely plausible that both the launch releases will be sold out in the next few weeks) we're now looking to get as much interesting and high quality material to as many people as possible.

In a wondrous "gift that keeps on giving", turn, if we drive enough parcels through then we should be able to offer a faster postal service (in the UK) for the same price.

We've been bleating on about the need for a more unified scene for a while. This is fairly clear evidence of it.

edit: Arpz, not what I meant at all . I meant Nick mentioning it when Fracus was stuck in traffic and unable to post up art. Nothing thrills us more than seeing people as excited as we are by what's happening!

*stops fluttering one set of eyelashes*

I'm going to blame my broken finger, and sidestep why I didn't feel the need to read back what I was writing before sending.
