Hey, just wondering why you don't see any of the old guard such as vibes, slipmatt , Billy Bunter etc at none of the "big name" raves (htid etc)? Did something happen? Was there a big hardcore fallout??
Answers on a postcard....

Vibes is doing HTID in the Sun this year I think?
Probably made their millions and don't need to keep going :)
Slipmatt never did Bonkers though? Wonder if that will be a lifelong niggle for him?

Bunter and Slipmatt are hardly short of work to be honest, with all the different styles they are involved in. Vibes does the occasional main room set with his mix of old and new hardcore.
They all still play happy hardcore and old skool, and indeed new hardcore, especially on their radio shows so they aren't completely out of the loop. I doubt they have fallen out with too many people, you see them communicating on Facebook, and playing big names' tunes, etc.
A lot of ravers now possibly don't want to see old crusties playing young people' music (more fool them, I say).

They all play more on the UK Hardcore main stages than any HU djs so it could be worse

Doubt he cares. He's been involved with far more successful things.

You're either trolling or you're not looking at the lineup on flyers or fb events correctly. My guess is both.
Slipmatt and Vibes are everywhere, and are always playing classics set. In fact both of them usually do HTID In The Sun. Although so far Slipmatt is not listed to go this year, but Bunter is.
And CDJay is totally right, I don't see the HU crew featured nearly as much as those 3 everywhere, which makes no sense in my opinion. Also, for some reason Al Storm is not listed as part of the lineup for this year's HTID ITS. Hopefully that's a mistake because he's been to all of them I believe.

Was I at the wrong rave on NYE? HTId & Dreamscape had all three on the line up. Vibes played main room and Bunter was a midnight set in room 2. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's a regular to see them on flyers at HTID.

That is just fucking wrong. I will always remember how incredible your closing set for the 2nd night at HTID ITS 2012. I don't think I ever saw the room so packed for the last set the whole week except for the last night! Truly was one of the best sets of the whole week, and especially special since you dropped Darwin's remix of ToyTown there :)
Biggest mistake they've made so far for this year's HTID ITS.

Was thinking the same thing myself, get invited to events on facebook all the time, and see their names on event line ups pretty regularly
