I have some amazon credit and was looking into maybe completing some of my album collections and thought I'd check out what's available for the CXH series, and holy shit most of the places sell the CXH for 40USD and up brand new! Lowest I've seen is 23USD for #8. Used isn't all that better, with the majority of the ones that I don't have going for 15USD and up used.
Is this just a US thing, or anywhere outside of the UK thing? Many other album series like Bonkers and Hardcore Adrenaline are much more reasonable in price.

Because... Amazooooon.
I would say that generally anythign outside UK/US is more expensive than between those 2 countries. I just bought a couple of Heavy Metal albums. Most where sold for about 179 SEK each (~27 USD). 179 SEK is actually an OK price for some (special edition), but back when CD where selling good it wasnt uncommon to have the prices for regular albums go up to 250 SEK (25 USD at that time)
For comparsion, have you seen the prices on them on Discogs?

Did not check out discogs but like I said I have amazon credit I need to get rid of before I forget about it. Although I'm not looking to unload the credit right this minute just doing a general search on amazon.

Guessing they were either used or it wasn't recently? They certainly aren't pennies new now haha. Just looked on play too for comparison and one of them is 65 quid on there! Crazy.
Think I probably paid about 10 - 12 for them around when they came out.

I'm very close to getting rid of a load of my Hardcore cd's. Will put them up for sale at suitably stupid prices!

I only bought the first 1 when it came out, and i'm sure I paid about that for it as well, ?15 at the most, but one Christmas my dad got me the second one, round about the time the third or fourth came out, think it might of been the third, but I remember seeing it in the local hmv for ?5 I think, or was cheap anyway because the new one came out, and I know that's the only reason my dad got me it! haha

ok I just checked out UK amazon and yea they are pretty cheap on there. Maybe one day I'll order them off there and have them shipped to the US, but first I think I'll have to take care of some of my bonkers collection.
