What about people who are single, or just come out of a relationship or people who are in a relationship that isn't working. While Miss Happy Go Lucky is updating her Facebook status every 5 mins because her gorgeous man has booked a limo to take her to a candle lit dinner at The Ritz on top of all the presents her brought her Miss Naive is sitting at home waiting for Mr Sleaze to get back from the pub while she gets nothing.
It is the same with Mothers Day and Fathers Day, the intention is good but what about people who have lost their parents or sadly, those who where abandoned as children and have to watch other people celebrate the 'special day' which really only a few people get to enjoy. With these days its always a good intention but sadly not everyone is able to enjoy it

i think its unfair anyway, if you are a mom or a dad you get 2 personal days every year (bday and mothers/fathers day) while if you are not, you only have your bday which gets less interesting the older you turn.
list of days i want:
- international happy hardcore day
- international chav day
- beer day (isnt that one existing yet?)
where to apply for those?

It's a meaningless day that only now exists for the sake of profit. You shouldn't be concerned about the fact that people are doing things that they should already be doing anyway. There is no loss on your part.

Valentines day is called "friends day" here, and its as much remembering friends then it is lovers and the like. Though i don't know many who actually spend it differently then any other day, you know, apart from buying heart shaped chocolate.
I spent it with my cat watching anime and drinking beer. Something i'll do today too.

I leave for work before the postman delivers and on arriving home I can't get in the front door 'cos of the huge bloody pile of cards on the mat.... ffs!
This year I took the keys for the garden gate and back door. Sorted. :)

Do they still have 'chavs' in the UK? It used to be a big thing 10 years ago where they where everywhere. Now they all seem to have kids of their own and have their own show, The Jeremy Kyle where they compete with 'who sounds more trashy'

My facebook groups show that chavs still exist. Also while mostly an UK thing there are some from other countries too. Love em esp for their lookz. Trackies, caps and so on
