Now that the series (Clubland X-Treme Hardcore) is coming to an end and the last one is a "greatest hits" type of album... I think it's time to decide which was the best one, and why?
To me, the best one was CXH4! CXH2 is a close second. I love CXH4 because the sheer amount of better-than-average tunes on there. It has some stinkers like the Re-Con tracks on CDs 1 and 2 and the Do You Want Me Honey and Electric remixes, but other than that I don't think I can say there's a single track I dislike. Ask me about any other CXH and I can name you a couple (or many) that I don't like.
The music on 4 seemed focused on just what made me fall in love with hardcore in the first place: catchy riffs and vocals! I don't think I will ever tire of this one.
My fave tracks are:
CD1
Come Running, Baby I'll Let You Know, Doesn't Matter (Squad-E Remix), Paradise & Dreams, Light of My Life
CD2 (I think this is my fave CD, funny how good Breeze used to be compared to today)
You & Me (Breeze Mix), See The Light (S&B Remix), Rise Again (Sy & Unknown Remix), Sometimes, Come With Me (Unique Remix), Maybe, Don't Go Away
CD3
Perfect World, Dance With Me, Dark Skies, Be The One

Yeah vol 4 was a good album.
I liked the first couple of albums. Vol 1 I think is my fav one, so many great tracks!

Vol. 4 & Vol.5 for me!
The two things I hated about the series were
1) Slow tempo
2) Lack of "mixing"

Slow tempo as in "only" 170 BPM?

Overall I've got to agree that 4 was the best. My favourite mix however was the Darren Styles mix on 2, the breeze and hixxy mixes really let that one down though. Hixxys mix on 3 was also pretty good.
The worst by a mile was number 8.

Yes some amazing tracks on that as well. Slide away, still the one, so real, set you free. What a great time that was for hardcore!

Gotta be number 1 really. So many anthems on that! The it'd probably be 4.

I've not really listened to the older ones for ages now but probably 1 or 2.

I think 7 was one of the better ones too, but unfortunately it went rapidly downhill from there.
I actually didn't expect 4 to be most favored so far, I thought most people would favor 1 or 2, haha.

7 was nothing special imo, not shite by any means but quite average. The one thing I did like about it was the full unmixed tracks available when it was released. Think someone must have fcuked up there because they've not done it again since, bar the odd track.
