Hey guys,
When Sy & Unknown ran the Quosh Records website they had a section where you could buy packs of scratch samples. The website was still available a while after the whole controversy with Sy came about.
Anyway, I went to go and buy some more scratch sample packs today... And the website has gone!
If anyone knows a way to contact any of them I would really appreciate it. I've tried Sy's Quosh email address which I used to contact him on but that seems to be disabled now.
Please help!
Cheers,
Disguize

Are there any particular scratch samples you are after? I'd venture to say that almost 98% of scratch samples on vinyl were yoinked from other scratch sample vinyls which in turn stole them (unlicenced) from movies/songs etc
So I don't feel wholey bad about giving any away that you might need if there are particular ones you're after...? :)

I have made several scratch sample 'collections' (for want of a better word). About 5 or 6 samples with a short gap between each one, about 10 of these on a CD with cue points set out, easy and fun as well if you have the software. Which, if you have a computer, you can get free and legally, too.
I think I even uploaded a few once over, they contained the obvious ones though (beep aahhhhh, freshhhh, ah yeah, go!, break, dog bark, oh my god! etc etc etc) but you can rip them from pretty much any source.

There are free scratch packs on Soundcloud which contain many familiar scratch sounds, such as the ones you'd find in those packs Sy & Unknown sold.
They also sell scratch packs on other sites like Beatport.
