Is this label still going to be releasing anything. I know its been awhile and I know that Ham is no longer in hardcore but Brisk is still. Or is he only gonna release stuff through HU now?

Fracus and Darwin mentioned on the podcast that Brisk is now signed with the label, so that might mean the end of Next Generation/Blatant Beats.

Yea, what latin said. Plus, I can't see Brisk making any new music in the near future. He has nearly always collaborated with others and now he is living in Aus there aren't the artists to do this with. And we don't even know if he has a studio.set up. The selfish side of me would love him to come back to the UK so I can see him live again.

At the very least it would have been nice if brisk and ham would have let the labels reach 100 releases and end on that sweet note. Ham didn't release Anything For You and The One & Only before leaving for DnB. Although Brisk is still fully capable of making that happen, as well as work on some collabs to complete the labels to 100 releases each, but doesn't seem like he's all that interested.

that's true, but on countless remixes, he is alone. Who engineer's those tracks? Devastate?
In the end, atleast Next Gen/Blatant has had a good run, and didn't end because of fights or anything

Shame to see the two labels just peter out like they have done.

They don't make them anymore. I think his wife was the chef.
I know that Fracus engineered at least some of the remixes.

Kinda curious, after close to 20 years of making music, don't you think one would have learnt how to engineer?? Haha

I always thought Australia would have the biggest UK Hardcore following outside of the UK. Have had way more labels and producers for UK Hardcore than Canada and the U.S combined.
BRISK could still do collaborations with WEAVER, S3RL, JTS or HAZE. They all seem to still produce and run labels.

that sucks I loved the NG/BB inprint. I was hoping that eventually Dire Hardcore by the Blizzard Boys and Maniac by Gammer was getting released as they were slated for Next Gen.

S3RL has taken a different direction from Hardcore...about 10 bpms less of a direction.

I have like 4 that have never been used, it's been maybe 3 years since I bought them. Wonder if they're any good...
