Never Let Go is nice enough track, but vote for track of the year so far goes to Monster's Belly. I haven't heard a track with so much variety and pure fun factor in such a long time.

No one giving credit to Michael Mansion for Let Me In? The production on the remix was amazing but without the original (plus the lyrics/vocals) we would have never been able to listen to such a great Darwin remix. I wish Darwin was still producing this kind of sound, I think he peaked (as a solo-remixer) not long after HU3/4 :(
Haha I will mate... Michael Mansion's no.1 fan right here.
But I have never heard the original of Let Me In and I don't think anyone has (or have they)?

I believe this was already explained by Jon or Fracus, or even Darwin on the reason why there was never one available to own.

Jesus, Whittle1, that's a name I've not seen for a long time.

Is this the 'original' or is Inspiration a person? lol
seeing as Mansion put it out on his label, and it definitely sounds like his work, I'd bet it's the original.
that said, it doesn't hold a candle to the Darwin remix (i'd also give at least a little bit of credit to Aimee Mayo & Chris Lindsey for helping add that special country touch that really made Darwin's "Hemstock" remix something truly special)

funny thread. i actually don't really like let me in. i fee l like the freeformy/ trance sounding element comes out much harder than any vocal/UK hardcore sound. i think darwin's current work is actually better than alot of the past stuff. not big on freeform at all. never let go is an amazing remix i def love it. i wouldnt consider it their best remix though. under my window is pretty ace though ;)

Let Me In is a lovely, lovely track. But best vocal tune of the last ten years? That is a pretty outrageous claim. Nowhere near, for me.
Never Let Go is excellent, too.
Judging just by the vocals themselves, I'd say it is a great contender for it. You cannot deny how incredibly creative those lyrics are.
What in your opinion is Jay? What tracks do you consider to be the best vocal tune of the last 10 years?
Mansion's lyrics are always excellent - not just that tune in particular. Look at 2 Best Friends, for example. Phenomenally well-crafted track, lyric/story-wise.
Blimey. Tough question. There's some magical, magical shit from those mid 2000s years. Could be a new topic altogether!
