Yes i'm really looking forward to the usual standard to 2 or three good tracks bundled with a bunch of crap at a premium price. The series so far has been an insult to value for money.
Premium price??? The DJ Tools albums, including shipping, run about 13.50 quid. That may be a bit more than what 10 tracks would run at TID without the pro account, but it's less than what they would cost at Beatport. And yes you probably don't want to bother with an album copy and want to do digital only and want to get the tracks you want. For that, you'll have to wait until Jon makes them available at Beatport. The first 2 are already up as digital downloads, and the 3rd one eventually will make its way. If you don't want to buy the whole album and don't want to wait until the tracks are available digitally, then clearly DJ Tools is not for you and you telling us for the millionth time why you hate it so much will not make a difference.

Beatport always seems to have a good selection. One nitpicky thing I hate about Beatport though is that for the premium prices they charge, they can't bother to provide better than the 500x500 low resolution choppy full-of-compression-artifacts release artwork. Trackitdown always offered huge high quality artwork, which is one thing I really like about it, though you can't download it unless you buy the track.
Getting off topic, has anyone every considered making a hardcore cover art database? Maybe a place where artists/labels/individuals can upload high quality master files of label or individual release artwork? Something kind of like this...
http://www.albumartexchange.com/ ...but for hardcore.

If it bothers you that much then don't buy it. It's really that simple.

Yeah TID is having a hell lot of issues. They've messed up my releases so many times that my confidence for the site has almost hit 0.

Yes i somewhat feel the same every time you slag off the lethal theory albums which doesn't stop you but don't worry too much, you wear the hypocrisy very well.

But if you really like those 2-3 tracks? Just think of all the japanese CD's I have. I almost pay 15 quid for 2-3 tracks because I like them alot.

Out of the 4 LT albums that have been out I've semi-slagged off 2 of them, the powerstomp albums, not for the quality of the actual tracks but because of the lack of diversity of the albums themselves. Sure it's a powerstomp album so it's expected, and I actually do like powerstomp, I just don't love it enough to get excited over a whole album worth of it.
Yes I did say I'll only wait to get it once it drops significantly down in price or it's offered as a gift with purchase, and that wasn't a joke. I'm patient enough to get it at a price that I see fit, instead of come on here like you do borderline demanding that HU go out of their way to satisfy you.
As for Hardcore Innovators, don't think I gave it a proper review, but I do love the album. FAR better than the Powerstomp album. And I have LT classics, but I haven't actually gotten around to listening it yet. I think I'll do that this afternoon. So try again.
