I so need to get back into J-Core again. I've been so out of touch lately.
Ps. Everything XIO touched is gold. What a brilliant producer!

well, why wouldnt helblinde be j-core? He produces most of the stuff I dont actually like (the 200+ BPM, and basicly free-for-all crazy shit)

He's going more down the tribe route recently but even then he's always called his stuff "gaijincore" because of not being from Japan but still using Japanese samples and whatnot.

Aran has been a favourite of mine for a while.
https://soundcloud.com/aran_07/aran-emoticon I wish J-Core was more accessible. I have no worries about buying CDs from jcore.biz and have done, but so often there are only one or two tracks on a CD that I want and it's difficult to justify spending so much on those two tracks.

P.s I love this. Production isn't as tidy as XIO, but that sound warms my heart!

Precisely what I was going to say, it's gets bloody expensive importing CDs when often, like you say, there's only a few tracks you want. Is there a reason they don't release them as MP3s?
I will be in Japan in March so will be looking at picking a couple up should I come across any. I don't know if they sell them in shops or they are specialist or what not.

I've always wondered if there'd be enough interest from others for me to run a J-Core online store in the UK, but to be honest I don't think it'd change anything if people are only interested in owning a few tracks. :/
Speaking of which, if you guys like XIO I'd really appreciate if you guys would check this out since he has a track on here and a few of the other tracks may grab your interest, and I really need to sell more of them. ;)

i feel ya guys; i just try to carefully listen to the crossfades and if there is seriously more than 2 or 3 i like i will just swoop haha. and usually the ones i do like are VERY good.
for example on J NERATION 3 i rated like 8 out of 12 tracks very highly.
people like P light i almost always enjoy their work; noriken and others i am more careful. usually; the more festive and cheery anime girl on the cover; the better the disc haha.

Do I presume you are referring to selling CDs, rather then digital files? I wonder how one would go about getting the rights to sell Japanese MP3s, if it would be too much hassle or not?
I know you can get the odd one here and there but it's not nearly enough.

It'd probably be a hassle especially if hardly anyone downloaded them, plus I think a few don't really want their music leaving Japan because they worry about westerners filesharing. Not sure how many artists over there still think that but it has been a thing at some point.
Are there any labels' releases in particular you (or anyone else here) are looking for to be digitally released?

None in particular, I listen to a lot of previews of albums and like a handful of tracks from each one, usually the UK/happy hardcore sounding tracks rather then the slower ones or the extreme tracks. I imagine a fair few would download them actually, and would perhaps cut down on piracy? If they can instantly get the tracks they want without paying stupid import prices, that would be better then costing a fortune for tracks they don't want.
