I know I've already made several posts about Scott Brown recently, but I felt this one warranted its own post.
I saw Scott Brown on Friday here in Las Vegas, and I had the time of my life. The party was different than what I'm used to (just smaller, venue was a bar). Scott had played a song I had waited 10 years to hear. I thought it was very cool of him to play it for me, because all my dj friends would always talk bad about people who requested songs.
We've been chatting back and forth on Twitter since he's still in town. Today when I woke up, I saw a video he had taken at the top of my facebook feed. It was a lobster claw game here in town. I'm an animal activist, so it kind of stung to see it. I sent him a message asking him to please not visit another place in town that's mean to animals since I'm spearheading a campaign against the facility and...
he told me he had already looked over my personal posts regarding the animal rights issue (dolphins in tanks in the desert) and that he agreed with me! And sent me a photo of dolphins he had taken while diving in the Red Sea.
Not only has he been super nice by interacting with me, but he's actually taken an interest in the things I've had to say, and I think thats pretty neat. He was always in the top ranks of my favorite djs, but thats it. He holds the crown and I don't think anyone is going to take it from him anytime soon!
Thank you guys for encouraging me to reach out and talk to him. I didn't get the picture at the party, but my name was dropped by the MC during the song and it's now saved on the internet forever :)

I know I sound like one of those kandi kids the other user was talking about but I don't even care at the moment. The animal thing is the entire reason I live in the desert, and it's a big passion of mine. I feel like my worlds have collided.
PLUR is a real thing, you just have to know how to apply it to your life. I'm very thankful to have been a raver at some point in my life, because I don't think I would be trying to save the planet today without it!
