Years late as usual, but I've been really enjoying the breakbeat bits that were around 2010ish by the likes of CLSM, Entity and Gavin G....
Is there much going on in breakbeat side of things these days, or was there just a bit of a resurgence in the early teenies?
I swear I saw an option to buy the back cat of HU breaks on the HU site a while back, but it's not there now so maybe I dreamed it?

you should swoop HU breaks as well as HU6 if you have not already.
The Entity & CLSM mix off that comp is seriously on of the most beautiful things ever.
Definitely not as much produced as we would like.
Kniteforce still pushes out really quality stuff too.
definitely check out the homie here ( captain triceps ) = Paul Bradley. He is killin it.
Chris Ross & Sam B were making some solid as hell breaks too.

Yeah I've plenty of breakbeat hardcore on Kniteforce, mostly in the old skool style. New EP coming out soon actually, just been officially announced on Luna-C's show in the last hour.

I'm back. Got some breaky bits, including a collab with Ponder and a breakbeat freeform tune with Darwin that should please a few people.

As Captain Triceps said there is some amazing stuff coming out on Kniteforce atm, best breakbeat stuff I've heard in years, mostly oldskool in style but there are some more experimental bits as well.

I notice that hiccup again in a few tracks though, what is the deal with that? wasn't just your stuff on the last disc either, something kniteforce does while mastering? absolute ******** for such beautiful tracks. Would Luna -C let you send out WAVS that are uncompromised to those that purchased, or do like an update file with the affected tracks?
straight killin me xp, someone needs to listen to the tracks before they get pressed.

Yes the Future Primitive and VW sound is what I've generally gone for, not purposely mind, just that is what came naturally and sounded best.
As for the hiccups, I honestly don't know what causes it, but yeah it's frustrating but at least the digital files are (as far as I know) uncompromised.
Believe it or not, I don't actually have the wavs of my tracks, Luna-C will have them so you could ask him? I have the MP3s for the CD tracks though.
