Modern hardcore isn't all wubs and 808s, quit generalizing.
As a matter of fact, I hear less "dubstep" hardcore bring pushed off these days. All I ever hear is flack about Gammer and that is where all of this dubstep nonsense comes in lol. Calm the **** down and stop shitting on everyone for making what they want. That being said
Hard house still isn't as hard as Hardcore. Period. Good day.

I don't think there is anywhere near as much of this dubstep style hardcore being done as people think.

There really isn't lol, I mean yeah id say between 2012-2014 there was but it really died down.

Dustep hasn't been "prominent" in Hardcore for the past 3 years yea.
But then Smoogie didn't like my latest mix and that was basicly just 2016-2017 songs on it and barely anything dubsteppy/electro/edm

Your mix wasn't too bad, more on the vocal side of things but no Dubstep in it.
I prefer stuff that is darker and dirtier which I get more from Hard House.
When you get deep into Hard House that is when you hear it for what it is, raw underground rave music on par with stuff that was coming out 15, 20 or 25 years ago

* brown & storm have a sweet gabbery track off DS4.
Styles & gammer should stop being so commericial and just start making gabber bangers. that is atleast hardcore.

or how about when gammer gets booked for a classics set, I drive 300 + miles, and then he plays tracks like "monster" & "promises" . thats some serious ****head level BS
aand this is primarly a dubstep/brostep track. it's obviously not skream or benga, but come on.

Ouch! That sounds like Dubstep to me, not Hardcore!
It is a shame as Gammer used to make some good tunes and remixes back in the day and he was always the better side of Dougal. I will never forget Fires in the sky! Now that is good Hardcore. Not the hardest tune but still very uplifting !

Obviously depends on what DJ's and tracks you listen to, Hardcore ranges from slower chilled out breaks stuff to 200bpm plus Gabba/Frenchcore stuff, there's also Freeform, Powerstomp, Makina, Breakbeat Hardcore etc etc, even UK Hardcore varies from label to label. Monstercat pushes the Dubstep stuff while Evolution/lethal Theory has the harder bouncier stuff.
Thats one of the reasons why I still like hardcore and do my own mixing.

I like both but I don't think Hard House is harder. The Cheeky Tracks label just sound like House but faster with some oldskool elements (vocals, hoovers & piano melodies).

I mix Hard House with digital but also done some Hardcore. I still like my Old Skool but I love looking through Toolbox Digital and picking out some Hard House. Such a great scene with so much variety!
