I'm back. Haven't paid the slightest attention to the scene for about six months for personal reasons.

First thing I did was check Soundcloud and apparently Gammer has finally decided to deport himself from the hardcore scene.

I, for one, am grateful that I'll no longer have to hear stuff like Pigface. I'll no longer have to hear his 170bpm electronic big room hardstyle dance music described as hardcore. And as an added bonus, I'll no longer have to abuse him on Soundcloud.

Hopefully, everyone who became a shitty Gammer knock-off over the last few years can either go back to producing hardcore or follow Gammer off the cliff like that video game Lemmings.

I didn't even know dubstep was still a thing.

I'm fairly happy with proceedings and I haven't even heard any new hardcore yet (if anyone's still making that genre).

Hi all!

Edit: If anyone has any recommendations for stuff I've missed that I might like, please share.

you missed sharkey releasing his artist album. Even though it ended up being 4 disc with remixes (of sharkey's tracks)/unreleased/classics/mix

And all the remixes do is make you want to listen to the originals.

I commented on Gammer the other day and some people said that there is less 'Dubstep' in Hardcore than a few years ago apparently.

I myself follow Hard House these days but Toolbox Digital where I get my tunes from do have some Hardcore worth listening to. A lot of Hardstyle as well it seems and even some OLd Skool.

I might as well add that I am tempted to give Captain Tricep's EP a try as well off Kniteforce as I do still want to have some Hardcore to play around with now and then.

As usual Scott Brown is the only one releasing anything decent (although in smaller quantities these days), also Kniteforce is releasing some amazing breakbeat hardcore.
