Ok, so I have been bought my first real deck to go with my cds.
Yet I have no cartridge or needle.
So looking like a top class fool, do they all fit?
Can I get a multi-purpose needle that will scartch and play at a decent level.
The deck is a stageline (does this mean anything to anyone?)
Please help, I have been told they cost between 50-70 euros so I don't want to waste my money 8-)

Theres lots of descent carts about mate but the most common one is probably the Stanton 500ALMKII. Thats a pretty good cart for a descent price really. Personnaly ive got Ortofon om pro Scratch carts which i think are great but they cost a little bit more too. Not a great deal though. Its up to you though.

I have a pair of Orfoton's and they cost me £85. But you cant go wrong. They are far better than any pair of carts I have ever used. That goes for Stantons which are pretty good an all!!

I use the ORTOFOON BANANA (the yellow ones), but the stanton 500al mk II are a realy good option.
