With Serato, there is very little lag if any especially if the buffer is turned up. Even with the buffer at lowest, you can still scratch with it. Many people are working with Serato (mainly hip hop) and most of them are also turntablists and scratch fanatics. The reason why they turn to Serato is because it was tailored with the turntablist in mind which in effect, what covers them, covers the average person using a turntable as they use the turntables to extreme measures.
You might know DJ Jazzy Jeff, the guy that works with Will Smith. He uses Serato.
If you want more info on the capabilities of it, i suggest you check this review. It's called the Digital Showdown with where they put the main Digital solutions with the CDX (not really digital...HDX is), FS2 and SSL.
It's a good read with videos showing the issues. Check it out.

Says ft. Compulsion on the record so one would assume it's him.
Good tune, liked all three mixes.

Wasn't sure whether to bump this 9 year old thread or create a new one, but what the heck.
Anyway, I've just dug out Hardcore Nation 3 and rediscovered the Scott Brown remix of this track. Does anyone have a link to the original prank call? I could have sworn at some point I had a copy of it (probably from a P2P program) but over the years I seem to have lost it.
