has anyone tried their in-ear headphones..whether it be the E3,4, or 5's?
Most have good reviews but are they really made for DJing, or just casual listening pleasure??

Funnily enough, I tried a pair at the airport the other week and was impressed by them. Very good for isolating the outside world, and the sound quality was excellent too. I actually preferred them to the noise cancelling ones (I can always hear the white noise and it ****es me off!)
I wouldn't like to saay how they would be in a club atmosphere though. They *may* isolate the noise well enough, but I can't see them being sturdy enough to last more than a few months,

don't know how they'd hold up being used for djing

Nah you can't be using ear phones for DJing.
A. They aren't powerful enough.
B. You can't partially lift away from your ear like you can with headphones, this would make mixing on a big club system very bloody hard.
TBH I don't even find "in ear" earphones very good for casual listening... The bottom end on them seems horrendously bad even for earphones.
*edit*
Have just looked at the ones your talking about! Very expensive heh. I'm sure they will be much better for casual listening than the ones I have tried. Still wouldn't fit the bill for DJing though.
