Why dont you just run your decks into the line in on your pc and use that as a medium to record?

You will still want your speakers hooked up. You need to hook your mixer up to your soundcard using the mixers rec. output and the soundcards audio input (not the mic input).

Quite likely, it will be on the same card.
Looks like you will need to run the sound through your PC speakers as you only have one output on your mixer by the sounds of things. Unplug your amp and use that output to connect to your pc (soundcard line-in), this should send a signal to your soundcard that will play on your pc and can be recorded.

Yeah you need a phono to jack cable. Try and get gold plated ones, they give a better quality signal.

You can get a minidisc recorder for around £30 off ebay.
A 1gig Line-in MP3 recorder for £30
A 20gig Line-in MP3 recorder for £60
Or a CD recorder off Ebay for around £90.
I just use an MP3 player with Line-in. That encodes it realtime so you dont have to fuss with PC's. You can master it later.
Easy peasy. You can get a few here cheap:
