Hmmmmmmm.
z3ta is reaaally good as a layer for like Nexus. It can't be used on it's own if you're going to try to get a really thick sound. Nexus is the go for thick sounds. It also as i said, works really good when you layer z3ta over it. The new vanguard is pretty good for the highs and high mid layering actually, but again, none of this stuff can be used on its own, nexus might be able to be used on its own imo... but the main thing you're trying to do is to get a thick sound.

I think nexus is a must too imo.

LOGIC 8 FTW they eveything goodseems to come in 8's or 4's ie FL8 logic 8, Cubase 4, reason 4 lol

Heres Some more info U might want to know, I have setled with Cubase SX3 at the moment after spending £300 on it i dont want to upgrade just yet....

Nexus : Full Sound Synth ( amazing ) used by the pro's £289
Native Instruments Battery 3 : Drum Machine ( very good ) £299
Native Instruments Kontakt 2 or 3
( good for slicing single samples to the notes on the keyboard ) £300
RGC Audio - Z3ta+ Synth (love this one can make any sound ) £200 - £300
Rob Popen Predator - synth, just got this so still learning on it
but has an amazing basic sound library £180 approx
T-Racks Mastering Suite £150

Vengeance Club sounds Vol 1 & 2
Vengeance Hard House Sounds Vol 1 & 2

Full of all your sound samples you will ever need :)
