heard this.Here's what I think...
the 2 main things I would work on are the main melody line, perhaps work the underlying chords a bit and those bits were you use the snarefills repeatedly.feels like that doesnt let it build up.simpler snare fills might work better.
mixdown sounds decent for it to be a headphone mix and the applied build up fx are good yet something to keep working at.
thats it I guess.

I like this track, it's definitely got potential. The melody and the percussion are good but I think the whole track needs more punch and energy. The kick is ok but it could do with some layering as could the bass, it's got a slight phasing sound which detracts from the overall tone.
The main thing that needs addressing is the timing of the main melody, it's off-beat whereas the kick and bass are on-beat. You need to move either beat or the melody so that they are equally timed.
Here's an Mp3 where I've tried to add a bit more energy and moved the melody so that it's in-time with the beat:

soon as you mentioned the timing of the lead it clicked as to what was wrong thats been bugging me, my leads been bounced out @ 170 but when i insert it as a wav its out of time even though my mix is 170, i'll correct that later, thank you both for your comments
