Can anyone recomend a good set of cheap earphones for production?

don't use headphones for production if you can help it, using them pre mixdown is fine when your just arranging your mix & when it's late etc... but thats about as far as headphones will take you & tbh you can use any headphones for that. you can't really use a cheap set to mixdown on imho

There not cheap in the scheme of things but I use a pair of DT100's. As well as being the industry standard, there fully modular so you can repair easily if needed. Oh and there sound quality is super, quite flat. Have been know as the NS10's of the headphone world. There very comfy for long sessions and are closed backs so they cut out ambient noise meaning you can low at lower sound levels.

I have some ATH-M50s. I heartily recommend them, they're comfy and the sound quality is great. Won't bust your wallet either.
