...i've created a video that teaches you how to do just that!

Check it out and tell me how i go. I'd love feedback for future videos.

Oh and i use Virtual DJ here because it's easiest to explain with and also alot of people ask me where's the best place to start and i think VDJ is a great starting point.

Superduper! I know most things you mentioned but at the same time I didn't :P What is a EQ fader? Well, I understand what it is, but where can you find one on say a djm800?

What I usually do is turn the low eq down to about -20 on the song coming in, then as I fade it in using the crossfader I turn the low up.

There isn't one on a real mixer.

The reason we're using the EQ Xfade is because you have only 1 mouse to use on VDJ whereas in real life, you have two hands. So what you do if you turn down one bass and turn up the other which does the same thing as the EQ XFader.

I see.. I think I know enough to buy some decks now then. Gotta break into my friends house and steal his denon kit - He refuses me to play hardcore on them :(

thanks ravine, tried it out a few times, still tryin to nail it but i think im getting better.

BTW you were the first dj i stumbled upon on youtube, and from then on ive been hooked
