Hi can anyone tell me would it be possible to recreate the acid riff used in 'warp brothers vs. aquagen - phatt bass' with audiorealisms bass line 2 vst?
i cant work out how to get the long notes like the one at the start of the phatt bass riff.

Hi, I have used that vst and have found it very usefull however theres is an easier way of creating the sound, I use RGC Audio's Z3ta+ by using the bass 303 sample and alternating the velocity of the sound you can create the acid sound with varried pitch, the overall effect is extremely good and very effective :) hope this helps dude :)

i dont actually want to re-create the phatt bass riff, i was jus using that as an example. i want to know if it is possible to get long notes on abl2?
i cant find a function on there that would do it.
can you link steps together or something like that to get en extended note?
or is ther another way to do it?

I've never heard the track or used ABL2 . I use Phoscyon for acid and you can certainly make that play long notes.
If you're wanting a long note just put a long note in piano roll. If you're creating a pattern within the plugin rather than doing it all yourself this is probably where you're going wrong.

ABL2 is the best 303 clone VST out there. Stick to it.
DO NOT use 303 samples or z3ta+ presets. z3ta+ isn't even a monophonic synth. That'll give you n00b acid.
Here's how to do it in FL (of course, you need the right notes though):
1) use settings similar to those in this screenshot (play around and customize to suit):

2) stick blood overdrive on it
3) stick panomatic and delay on it

no worries mortis i appreciate the replies.
dain -ja thanks ill try that as soon as i get home! i chose to get abl2 coz people on here said it was the best 303 synth, and other reviews say its the most authentic to the original sound.
