I am starting to make a collection of vocal samples for my productions, mostly recording them from youtube videos, but I'm not sure of the legal stuff if I want to sell the track with one of these samples?

What sort of vocal samples? I wouldn't worry if they're just little sections from tv/films etc. It's against the law but you wont get done. Especially not if you're making Hardcore with them.

Youtube vids? Will they even be good enough quality to release in a track?

Anyway, cant see there being a problem with it, its been done plenty of times before with no consequences, as far as i know.

You can get good enough quality for some little sampled bits with some cleaning up. Obviously if you were sampling say a full 'pella it would be a whole different story.

I seriously, seriously doubt anyone is going to come after you in this case.

Good point. Unless you make a huge international hit and make millions and millions, I don't think the big bad corporations will bother going after you.

Joe Satriani vs. Coldplay/Günther for instance. He didn't go after Günther, but went after Coldplay. Obviously they make more money than Günther.
