Hello everyone!
I have become interested in purchasing some DJ equipment to try out, I have been watching DJ Cotts & Ravine on Youtube and that made me want to try it out myself. So I came here and ask for advice on which equipment to buy. Don't want to spend much as I may lose interest, but I want the equipment to be good enough to last a while. I don't want to spend over £300 if possible.
I found some stuff on the internet, can you see if its any good for a total beginner like myself or suggest other stuff..
http://www.decks.co.uk/package/Numark_TT1610_Behringer_VMX100_31140 I want to vinyl decks so I can learn to scratch aswell. :)

Right I've had a good read through that, I now know I have to get a direct drive turntable. :P
So far I've found the Stanton T80 looks ok, but I'm not sure what mixer to get with it? Can anyone help?

Hey, I'm a fledgling DJ as well here. When I was buying up my equipment, I ended up getting a Behringer VMX200 for my mixer. Now I know everyone rags on behringer stuff, but it's a cheap, solid mixer for a beginner with a nice amount of features. You should check it out.

I was in the same position earlier this year :P
I bought Stanton T62s and SMX202 mixer. It's a decent package for beginners, and costs about £300 I think. Bought em from chemical-records.co.uk

I've decided to buy the Stanton decks, T62 because I've seen a video about it and it seems good for a beginner. I need help choosing a mixer, nothing too advanced or costly. Can anyone reccommend anything?
Also, as I've never owned decks before, when I buy them off decks.co.uk, do they come with everything required to get started, or do I need to buy extra cables?
