Yeah well okay I'll do my own breaks then, happy ?!

Some guys from Spain, like DJ Rayden and his friends ( biggest Hardcore DJ's in Spain, and yes, Spain has a pretty big Hardcore scene! But they're all more into OldSkool and Breakbeat ).

Or by being lazy... you gotta put the effort in. if some do, doesnt mean you have to. stand as an individual and make a track that you can be proud of, rather than one with shortcuts taken.

Well if you just want a few loops and samples thats fine and dandy, im sure almost every producer out there uses loops edited for their own needs. It would be really difficult to make a groove like a real drummer playing so yeah loops and tings are ok in my book. But its posts like this that i have an issue with....

That's a piss poor attitude to have when it comes to pretty much anything in life, especially production. Get a few loop samples, use them, study them intently then try and make your own thats where the real fun is to be had. You get in what you put out.

its frustrating when I work for hours on one track making sure everything is how I want it and almost completely original, when people can do it the easy way and get even further by using samples.. with the samples tweakn supplied, you'll have a track in like an hour, and thats annoying.. :/

If you mean basic kick on 1 and 3.3 snare on 2 and 4, then no, no its not difficult. If youre trying to recreate say the amen break things get a bit more complex. Things like ghost hits, different velocities, basically "humanization" come into play. Its not easy to make and make sound good.

I feel ya pain. I spent atleast half an hour today making my own kick drum. I havent got time and have too much on my mind at the mo to make a track so i concentrate on making stuff like drums, drum loops, practicing synthesis and basic music production ie filtering, EQ, compression etc. So yeah when ive spent that long working on something to make it truly my own someone comes along and throws a few samples from the latest version of Nexus or VEC's newest cd its a bit disheartening to say the least. But **** it thats what others are content with doing thay can go right ahead. Im happy to put in the work if it means im nothing like those people

The thing is, this is a bit different than 4-Beat Hardcore. This is Breakbeat Hardcore, and Breakbeats aren't that easy to make ! Yeah I was trying to do an Amen Break. Was pretty simple, I learn fast.
