Not to worry mate.

Yeah, I'm debating that. I'm doing Stomp! in Leeds the weekend before though, and money is gonna be tight.

That will be a sick event though. Force & Styles set. Wowzers.

Paranoia is available now at AudioJelly for 0.99 quid/dollars/euro. You can buy the whole EP set for 2.59, and it's your choice of whether you want 320mp3 or WAV.

b) A tweet from FutureWorld over the weekend:

From October our releases will be stepping up to weekly.

Every Monday will see a release on Beatport !!

Decent track, bit annoying with the Futureworld robot voice every few bars but hopefully that doesn't make it to the released version.

Seen that a few days ago, great news! Releases have been far too slow this year from the big guns so this is very welcome. Would be great if they kept this up.

That vocal sounds way too processed, not digging that at all.

Great news on the releases though

They're just a watermark to prevent people from ripping it (as if anyone actually would). Petruccio had them all over Sick too and removed them for the release.

It's a huge problem in spain. Why do you think Makina samples on utube or scloud are usually riddled with watermarks, skips or fade outs?

Sadly it's one of those rare moments where Jacket's actually right.

I highly doubt it will be kept up. I have a feeling that this announcement of weekly releases was to coincide with the HH Awards voting, to remind ppl that they've been around this whole year, when in fact they really haven't. The label didn't do much of anything except made a "huge" announcement of an upcoming "huge" anouncement, months later made a "huge" announcement, and then didn't do shit about all of that until about 2-3 months ago lol. I would say that after the awards they'll go back to a bi-weekly release schedule.

Or give us one single track a week rather then the 3 or 4 (yes I'm including radio edits, but still) every two weeks, so while they are more frequent they are a little less in volume.

Which isn't too terrible, I mean it's more then a lot of labels, still gonna take a while to shift the whole lot on the list though.

To be fair, I think MaidenV might have just been casually backhanding the quality of the track with that comment. I don't think I've even heard it so I can't really say!

That's true, but the creation of this particular label was at the expense of several others and their respective and accumulative outputs (Twista, Junkbox, Essential Platinum etc. (which still fcuking blows my mind, by the way (especially the unofficialness of it all), but that's a thought for another day)).

That wasnt my intent, I was being (apparently naively) optimistic that no one actualy would try to rip a track fom Soundcloud and piece it together. But if that actually does go on then...ok.
