https://www.facebook.com/events/563129440434883 So who would consider going to this? I know a few of you are already trying to go to HITD ITS, but this might be an even better option depending on the lineup! And for an American in almost any job field, it's easier to take time off during months lying between holidays and the summer. Hopefully the lineup is more diverse and less dub/electocore than what HTID ITS has become lately. Also you can put in a request as to who you'd like to see over there, and I'm definitely pushing for the HU crew!

I'm just worried that an already small scene is going to be diluted even further.
I can't see both events getting the numbers to survive.
I know this sounds really snobby, but I find it really off putting how illiterate some promoters are. Have you read the passage on the event page? It just reeks of unprofessionalism.
Edit: They have since improved their post significantly. Still...

Well if you consider who actually runs these things then that's no surprise.

What do you mean exactly? Must have missed it.
Either way this is UK Hardcore, there's nothing "professional" about the scene lol. Especially with the likes of HTID ITS promoters and these as well, especially the crowds who go to these events lol.
This event would be a better option for me timewise, but still a farfetched possibility. I wouldn't consider making a more serious move to attend this until I see the lineup. If they have enough HU djs there and LT djs there, I'm definitely in. What's crazy is people want Gammer, Dougal, Storm and Whizzkid there, yet that would turn this into pretty much another HTID ITS, but with a possibly less shitty location.

This. Numbers at HTID In the sun have fallen dramatically since they started in 2007. Not sure how making 2 overseas events is going to help at all. Let's be honest the majority of people who follow hardcore aren't exactly stinking rich... stinking yes, but that's another matter ;-).
There would probably be a much better and more successful event if HTID and RR joined forces and done the event in Ibiza. I've been saying for ages that HTID should consider a different venue that Lloret de mar.

I don't that that 'RAVERS' have ever booked any HU artists, so I would say that is unlikey.

True but in a 7-day span I think there's a good chance of a booking for them. I hardly think that there are enough Ravers Reunited/GTYM/TOWIH djs that normally play those gigs or work with the labels are enough to be spread out in a 7-day span' much less be enough for them to attract enough of a crowd to make this a jampacked event.
Honestly I still think that these 7-day events are a severe waste of resources because HTID ITS's numbers have been falling drastically, and I think if Raver's Ibiza doesn't do anything totally different, or better, than HTID ITS this will be the one and only that they have.
I still much rather see them do a large-scale weekend event, just like Defqon.1, Decibel, Dominator, etc, but probably on a slightly smaller scale, or even pair up with a hardstyle and/or gabber hardcore promoters, as to ensure an influx of people in such an event. It's easier for anyone to take an extended weekend off compared to a whole week just for an event.

I have no interest in attending either, but I'll be keeping an eye on both seeing as sparks are flying already!

I actually couldn't believe my eyes when HTID posted in the HTID ITS 2014 page earlier today, speaking out about their decision not to book Keyes and related matters.
I think they've since removed it.

I certainly won't be going.
Everything the guy does rubs me up the wrong way. He steps on so many people's toes and just couldn't care less!
Everytime he announces an event it's within a week or two of another event that's been announced for months, yet does it anyway, normally in the same city. And now this?
He has no respect at all, constantly goes on about it being for "the ravers" when it's more than blatantly obvious that it's only for personal gain and getting one over.

The whole thing is pathetic sums hardcore up, no wonder the numbers arent what they used to be.
Plus the amount of folk kissing Keyes arse these days is embarrassing. I cringe repeatedly on a daily basis at it on Facebook etc..
Ever since he started trying to take over "the scene" over past year & abit with all these different events, folk have been like flies around shite with him.
