Some of you may have heard Paloma Faith's version of Make your own kind of music. It's quite good but had to listen to Daydream's version from 1997. Always liked it from Bonkers 3, it and Galaxy. Both were on the same release The Galaxy EP. Think both tracks contained vocals from the same original writer, not quite sure which song Galaxy had the vocals from.
Another Daydream track came across is Falling over the moon.
Knew I'd heard it before..realised it was Mr Knickers - Volume One (from Hardcore Heaven 2). Good to hear this again.
Came across Meant to be, quite like the sound of it.
So Daydream did make some decent happy tunes, i'll have to search for some more.

Daydream is legendary.
Now bear in mind when I post this, im not trying to promote or anything or derail but Mr lucky strike is attempting a version, although in very mild stages and who knows to be fair (very basic atm). On second thoughts, its that early I wont post anything up :D

Dart?s version from 2014 is brilliant. Lyrics re-sung by Zoe van west though.

I'm not a particular fan of "too happy" happy hardcore, but I must admit that I like a lot the whole DJ Daydream discography, probably strongly influenced by Bonkers 3 as well. The songs mentioned here are pretty good, but I think "Whispers", from 1999, is worth mentioning as well:
As a curiosity, I first knew "Whispers" under a different name: "Dash.com - Be On It", from the B1 side of this Spanish maxi:
This vinyl in its whole is a cheeky plagiarism of Oceania and DJ Daydream songs, being all them from Red Rocket Records. And when I say plagiarism, I mean LITERALLY a copy or almost a copy of all these songs ("Be On It" is in fact a clon, a 1:1 copy, of "Whispers"), without even bothering to disguise it a bit.

jesus i had 'make your own kind of music' stuck in my head a few days ago randomly when i was flying back from the uk. and was signing it for 6 hours straight and made a post about it on fb. thanks alot.... now its back in my head! grrrr lol ha ha ha
