its wont run on my pc for sum reason .. and can ask sum ppl who locked into my shows .. (mad max, xenatr.. more??) traktor + cd decks = bugbear goin insane ^^;;

How does 'traktor' work? Is it real time?
And, about ACID. Whenever (I think) I open say a mp3, it would create another file in the same folder, a 'ACID' format file, but, that's about all I really complain about. Haha, I just remember ACID being real confusing.
How about 'cubase?' That work well?

traktor is just dj software. dreag song on a desk and you can play it, cue it, sync the track, trow in sum effect, pitch...
basicly traktor is a replacement on decks, ya can do a whole show on it. but with cd decks (decks >mixer > pc >mixer) its much more fun =]
acid... hmm looked at it.. only host my track for preview on there site program stinks if ya ask me
cubase.. can tell ya mnuch bout it dont get the program i got cubase sx and im going to dj mainfraime soon to learn some shit i prolly be able to help you out after that.

Tryed VirtualDJ, it was pretty crap. Didnt play with it much, but the playlist really sucks. No unicode support? Couldnt even play most of my Finnish, French, German, Japanese etc tunes... Next time i'll try that Acid again....

I was going to mention cool edit pro, just did a quick search and found
out it has become adobe audition. don't know what adobe have down to it, but
the syntrillium version i bought before adobe got it is really good (for me that is)
if you get the multi track plugin you can chop change place files here there and everywhere, then do a mix down to a single file.

Sorry mate, but I really have to disagree with you there! Although I have never used Traktor as a stand-alone product, I have got it hooked up to my mixer, and it is easily as much fun, if not more than CD decks.
equivalent of 4 decks hooked up, keys are all mapped to various functions, so I don't have to look at the screen apart from to load up files. Individual outputs hooked into my mixer, so all audio routing is done manually. Theres some pretty cool effects in the system too - and I've only just scratched the surface on what it can do. From what I've seen theres a whole load more!!!
